How Effective Are Home Laser Hair Removal Machines?

I am looking at the Rio hair removal machines, has anyone used it and what results did you get?

—-

They are not very effective, I used my machine regularly and saw no obvious effect. Machines that are available for own use, do very little as they are aloud little power. The best thing to do would seek a professionals advice, at least that way you are guaranteed a result.

I’m not really familiar with the rio but I bought a TRIA about half a year ago
It was $1,000. I used it twice on my bikini area and saw about 10% of the hair fall out.
The “at home lasers” like the tria and rio have to be weak enough so you can’t hurt yourself, they are a class 1.
The lasers at the clinic are a class 4 – They are 4 times as effective.
I’ve had one treatment in the spa and half the hair has already fallen out. But my hair is dark black and thick and my skin is ghost white.

Which is the most effective colors to treat
Someone with tan skin and brown hair may not have ANY results
That’s why I couldn’t get my arms done

The at home lasers aren’t really strong enough to give you smooth skin
And if you read the fine print it says “hair reduction” not removal
I sold my tria and went to a medspa in houston tx

I paid $4,000 for my legs, underarms, and bikini area
And that’s permanent smoothness after 6 treatments over the course of a year…

I definitely think it’s worth it =)
Good luck with whatever you choose

    Hi,

I have tried at home laser also, but after using it a few times i noticed the hair was not even reducing also i felt i got a little more growth in other areas than usual.

SO long story short, i now go to nads laser clinic in Syney Australia and ive had my face, underarms, bikini, and legs done. All areas are almost hair free for good now.

So i reccomend going to a medical grade laser clinic and paying good money for amazing results.

( if anyone is from Australia check out http://www.nadsclinic.com.au)

    Godo luck

    Hi

I spend a lot on laser salon, well worth it! I alway thought my hairs are partilcur strong and stubborn. does take longer then they thought the final result but I can say I never need to shave at all since a year and a half ago. my skin is quite setive to razor no matter use of products. I suspected home rio hair removal would be weaker but maybe some indviduals got it lucky etc ..weak hair actviy in it roots. Rather home rio then razor. just once forever and quick but better not to assume salon type of result.
